Biography

            Jacklyn Foss, an aspiring costume designer, lives in Pennsylvania and is currently enrolled as a student at Ringling College of Art and Design. Jacklyn Foss, a visual studies major with an art history minor and creative writing minor, is currently working on her senior thesis; Which consists of 10 designs for a contemporary ballet, with two of the designs are handmade to be displayed. Using this in her applications and portfolio, she plans on achieving her master’s degree in costume design after graduation and then to later become a professor for costume design.

            As a child growing up in an abusive household, having an imagination was rather difficult at times. However, through art, she was able to escape. As time passed she enhanced and expand her skills in art, thus soon winning awards from her High School. With the constant support from her family and school, Jacklyn was able to turn art from just an escape to a passion she held dear. 

With having studied many different kinds of art such as fine arts, art history, game art, writing etc., She uses these skills to construct her passion from drawing on the page to 3d concepts with costume design. One may find her work for thesis, college, and construction of costumes for cosplay all on her website.
